Gaurav Syal, MD, is a board-certified gastroenterologist with expertise in inflammatory bowel diseases (IBD) including ulcerative colitis and Crohn's disease. He has a special interest in pouchitis and other disorders of the ileal pouch. Dr. Syal also treats other disorders of the digestive system that affect the esophagus, stomach, intestines and gallbladder. Dr. Syal is board certified in both internal medicine and gastroenterology. He is a member of American Gastroenterological Association, American College of Gastroenterology and Crohn's and Colitis Foundation.
